
Evaluation, Treatment, and Medical Management of Eating Disorders
This training, conducted by Kim McCallum, MD of McCallum Place and Washington University School of Medicine, focuses on the evaluation and treatment of eating disorders. This training covers assessment, medical complications, psychiatric co-morbidities, and treatment of eating disorders (including levels of care and psychological and psychotropic treatment options) with a focus on core concepts and decision points. Cases are used to spur discussion from a medical, psychiatric, and team leadership perspective. This training is geared toward clinicians, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, family medicine physicians/pediatricians, and counselors.
Dr. McCallum is a board-certified psychiatrist in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA), and a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS).
